LEAF RAKING AND FALL CLEAN UP?  

The Avon High School Rowing Team has to perform all the difficult work required to go fast on the water and support their new program financially.

Not only do our student-athletes pay-to-play, sell raffle tickets and discount tickets, and sweat at erg-a-thons to raise money for the Crew - they also rent themselves out as Rent-a-Rowers!   They willingly serve as field-hands to Avon residents to raise money for their team.

So, rent yourself a rower. They're strong. They're dedicated. They'll be supervised. And they'll work hard. They're tomorrow's leaders. Give them a break. Give them a job.  In doing so - you'll be helping to provide opportunites for Avon's young student athletes to participate in this exceptional new sport!

How Rent-A-Rower Works
Rowers are placed in groups based on individual schedules. These groups are then available for rent throughout the week and/or on weekends.  According to the needs of the patron, a small or large group of individuals can be arranged for a one day project or over the course of many days.

The rowers 'work for free', and the hourly fee you pay is donated to the AHS Booster Club to benefit the team.
