Registration for all Avon High School Rowers

All Avon High School students planning to participate in the rowing season please submit all paperwork by the season deadlines:

 

Spring: February 28th, 2009

Fall: August 25th, 2008

Paperwork, $250 fee and clothing check should be delivered or mailed to the main office at Avon High School.  Please write checks to AHS Booster Club and clearly marked "CREW".

1. Sports Physical ( both sides with doctor's signature - valid for 13 months & kept by Nurse's office)

4. Avon Rowing Contract

5. US Rowing Waiver

6. Clothing Order Form - note no change to racing uniform

8. Photo Opt-Out Form

 

In addition you are required to read and understand the student handbook, the Rowing Safety Guidelines and Rowing Emergency Procedures.

Fall practices start September 2nd, 2008 and will involve, basic safety review and landwork preparing you for the water. Those who have not passed the swim test will need to do so in the first week. Roster details will be published as soon as we have a clear idea of how many students signed up.
