Submit all paperwork and fees to pinciple's office by the season deadlines: 

 

Please make sure that the Sports Physical form is current with the the nurses office.  It must be signed by your doctor on both sides and dated within the last 13 months. The nurses' office will issue a Sports Physical Card to hand in with registration papers.

Paperwork and fees should be delivered or mailed to the main office at Avon High School - AHS Crew Program, Avon High School, 510 West Avon Road, Avon CT-0600

 

1. Sports Physical Card (obtained from the nurses' when a valid Sports Physical is handed in)
2. Sports Permission

3. Emergency Information Card

4. Avon Rowing Contract + $250 fee to AHS Booster Club

5. Event Food Fee $35 cash or check written to "CASH"

The Rowing Contract requires that you read and agree to the following documents:

AHS Athletics Handbook, the Rowing Safety Guidelines and Rowing Emergency Procedures.

Spring practices start March 8th, 2010 and will involve, swimtests for new rowers, basic safety review and landwork preparing you for the water.  Experienced rowers will assist in setting up Batterson Park.   Roster details will be published as soon as we have a clear idea of how many students signed up.

 

Everyone is expected to make every effort to attend the Trinity Tank sessions.  If you are unable to attend please talk with Coach Soo well ahead of time. This is our opportunity as coaches to see each rower one-on-one and determine boat placement.
