Andre Albert: Has been in the rowing community for many years.  Andre was the Head Coach of Fairfield Women's Crew for 7 years. He has also coached local club programs in the area. Thie is Andre's second year with Avon High school.
 
Chris Dlugolecki: Rowed for UCONN.  Chris is entering his third year coaching high school crew in the spring season.  Chris also coaches baseball and basketball.
 
John Kostal: Rowed for Princeton.  Entering his third year of coaching crew at the high school level, John has almost ten years of experience coaching youth soccer and basketball.  John is also actively involved as a leader in the Cub Scout and Boy Scout organizations in Avon.

 

 
Leslie McLaneRowed for University of Pennsylvania.  Leslie currently teaches Math and Computer Science at Newington High School.  Leslie played a key role in the Avon Town Clinics over the past two summers and is now entering her third year coaching high school crew. 
 
Soo Passmoor: Experienced rower and coxswain.   Along with Eric Rosow started up the AHS Crew Program and is entering her third year of high school crew. Soo serves as the head coach for the program covering administration, logistics as well as coaching.
 
Eric Rosow: Rowed at Trinity College and was a former world-class rower with several national titles, a Pan American Games gold medal and fourth place at the World Championships.  Mr. Rosow has also served as a member of the U.S. Olympic Committee's Sports Equipment and Technology Committee.  Rosow has coached rowing at Trinity College and volunteered for Simsbury High School. Eric was instrumental in get this program started.
 
Pam Rosow M.S., R.D., CDN : has been a registered dietitian, clinical nutritionist, for over 25  years and has worked in the area of sports nutrition. She learned to row in Craftsbury, Vermont and has been involved in the rowing community for several years.  She has also coached soccer and swimming. Pam is assists as a conditioning coach for the team. 
Location
 
Batterson Park Pond in Farmington.  The park is owned by the City of Hartford and used during the summer for Camp Courant.
 
The boat(s) and equipment will be stored under the eaves of the old bath house during the fall and spring seasons.
 
Directions: From Farmington follow Rte 4 to Rte 9 turn, South Rd.  At the 4 way stop go straight to the water and turn right into the entrance.
